And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.
Acts 19:8
Acts 19:8
Here's my question: Do we have any reality of this in our evangelism? Do we think of evangelism as seeking to reason with people and persuade them about the kingdom of God? What does that even mean? What is "the kingdom of God" in this context? How does this fit in with 1 Cor. 15:1-4, and Paul's definition of "the gospel" in that passage? What is the correlation between Paul's proclamation of "the gospel" in 1 Cor. 15, and "the kingdom of God" in Acts 19:8? How do the gospel and the kingdom relate to one another?
Alright, that's enough questions...
