On this note, I wish more biographies were written about Christians who weren't foreign missionaries or pastors. Just reading through the New Testament, you don't get the feeling a large percentage of Christians are going to end up in one of these callings. The majority are going to end up keeping house or going to work, and I think it would be a great service to have more stories from Christians who "excelled still more" in these roles.
